1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using What We Eatin’ (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission.

3. App Overview

What We Eatin’ is a mobile application that:

• Allows couples to swipe and match on nearby restaurants.
• Uses location data to recommend nearby places.
• Uses Google Places API for restaurant data.
• Includes optional in-app subscriptions to remove ads and unlock higher usage limits.

4. User Accounts & Partner Pairing

• You may need to create an account via Firebase Authentication.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You may generate or share a partner code to pair with another user. By doing so, both users consent to share swipes and matches.

5. Location Data

• The App accesses your device’s location to find restaurants near you.
• Your location data is not stored on our servers.
• Disabling location permissions will affect core app functionality.

6. Subscription & Payments

• The App may offer in-app purchases (e.g., ad removal, premium API access) through Apple In-App Purchases.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
• You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.

7. Ads

• The free version of the app includes advertisements.
• Ads are removed when you subscribe.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the app for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• Reverse engineer or tamper with the app’s functionality.
• Abuse, harass, or impersonate other users.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and code in the App are the property of Mark Burnett or its licensors.

You may not copy, distribute, or use our content except as intended.

10. Third-Party Services

This App integrates third-party services including:

• Google Places API (see Google’s Terms)
• Firebase (for authentication and backend)
• RevenueCat (for managing subscriptions)
• Advertising providers (for in-app ads)

We are not responsible for the content or policies of third-party services.

11. Disclaimers

• The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of any restaurant data.
• Your use of the App is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the App.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App and will take effect upon posting. Your continued use of the App means you accept the changes.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles.
